you don't have to spend a lot of money to look good it's how you wear it
why i do what I do.....
I am now Fashion Director at Glamour magazine but following on from the success of my weekly column in the Sunday Times Style magazine I thought I would bring this page to life every week and also give you the chance to comment. This page is not for me to dictate what you should be wearing but to offer ideas on how to put wearable outfits together. Its not what you wear it's how you wear it!
TIP...I love the shape of this dress and have put a silk white blouse underneath to allow the black to show up and also soften the hard edges of the dress add a thick legging underneath if the dress is too short
TIP...this is a great dress for the party season it ticks the glam goth trend and with a pair of shoes that tie up the leg it makes the dress appear sexier and is also a style detail that will carry through to next spring
TIP...I love the colours of the foil that have been stitched into the jumper and have picked one of the colours out to layer with a dress underneath and a red lip give that dressed up look even when wearing trainers
TIP...an animal print coat is the easiest way to update any outfit and to rock the look up (going against a lot of rules of overdoing the print and limiting to one piece per outfit) I have added the animal print chelsea style boots as I think this adds a bit more rock n' roll
TIP...a graphic black and white print dress is great with a biker jacket and modernises a mid length add a chunky heeled boots to balance it out and stop it looking frumpy and dont lace up to top but tie laces around the ankle of boot
TIP...invest in a pleated silk skirt as it will also carry you through to next spring and style it with tops tucked in to show off the high waist and give shape to the outfit add a pair of lace up hiking boots to toughen up the look
